Purpose
Agile Insourcing provides a quality driven solution to our clients where the patient is at the heart of what we do; to drive down elective care waiting times. Our clinically led offering is supported by a cost-effective partnership approach which will identify, deliver and provide oversight to an elective care waiting list programme. We do this through delivering excellence across our operational and clinical model, putting the patient first and ensuring quality underpins the core values of our business.
Values
Cost effective
Insourcing is a cost effective and efficient way to support healthcare providers tackle elective care challenges and assist them reduce elective waiting lists and backlogs. We utilise local premises and equipment to deliver extra clinical capacity, often outside of normal working hours; evenings and weekends. This on-site Surgical and/or Medical Capacity Solution functions in a complementary way with local operations by managing in part or in total the patient pathway. Insourcing cost effectiveness comes from its rapid ability to increase clinical capacity, through either sweating local premises or through our bespoke modular units. Our fees are generally a proportion of revenue received by the host organisation for the clinical services provided. If any funds remain, that surplus is available for the local health service provider to reinvest locally.
Patient centred
One of the NHS’ seven principles is “the patient will be at the heart of everything the NHS does... NHS services must reflect and be coordinated around and tailored to, the needs and preferences of patients, their families and their carers”. Agile ensures that the needs and preferences of your patients are delivered in a safe and supportive environment by experienced highly skilled clinical staff who care about their individual needs.
Quality driven
Quality driven care is care delivered in an effective and efficient way, reducing any element of risk such as infection or other harm and in a timely way focussed on improving outcomes and value to the individual. Agile ensures that by reducing the backlog of high volume, low risk surgical intervention early it will lead to improved longer term outcomes and reduce the risk of long term disability, harm and deterioration in your patients condition.
Delivering on our values
Our operational model is underpinned by the following key steps: dialogue – get organised – understand the environment – delivery – evaluation.
- Dialogue – listen to and speak with local team/s to understand need and challenges
- Get organised – develop a mutual plan with key next steps and timelines
- Understand the environment – conduct a site visit (virtual or physical)
- Allocate the people – source the most appropriate clinical and operational resource
- Delivery – deliver clinical activity in line with best practice clinical pathways and utilising efficient operational systems and processes
- Evaluation – review and audit activity to ensure all necessary compliance
This approach ensures we deliver quality driven solutions which put the patient first and enables you to reduce the waiting list backlog.
