Originating in October 2024, this Charter sets a robust benchmark for consistency, safety, and quality across insourced and community echo diagnostics. By joining, Agile Insourcing demonstrates its unwavering commitment to these shared principles.
Our commitments as a charter signatory:
- 45-minute appointments for full diagnostic scans and reporting, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
- Comprehensive use of the BSE minimum dataset and latest reporting guidelines, supported by mandated CPD and compliance monitoring.
- Robust pre-employment screening and confirmation of echocardiographer competence, including familiarity with BSE protocols.
- BSE-accredited oversight for equipment and report quality assurance, where applicable.
- Recruitment of echocardiographers with minimum 20 months post-accreditation experience, unless adequately supported by further training.
- Clear remedial pathways for addressing any substandard practice - including supervised retraining before returning to independent clinical roles.
